The tornado warning this weekend was definitely something to behold. Luckily, my family just got heavy rain and thunder. Friends, however, are stranded in their town and unable to go to work. It is so weird to me this can still happen and we are never prepared for it. Michigan isn't exactly known for our weather being scary - fair enough compared to coastal regions - but when Mother Nature wakes up in our little mitten of the country, she sure does bring her A game.
