I don't want to sound like a PSA - but for all that is good in the world (or at least the United States) go out and VOTE!
Yes, I understand some of you have opinions and worries yet are still too young to vote. Guess what - you can still kidnap registered voters and take them to the polls. Hell, if you live in Michigan you can take unregistered voters and have them register the same day (TODAY!) as voting.
I know 8 people off the top of my head who aren't voting because they have no way to their polling locations. It's depressing and awful, to say the least.
What's worse is I met this woman at the bus who was unaware she could vote. She's 28 years old and was taught that if you aren't Democrat or Republican then you cannot legally vote... She's Independent and truly believed she didn't matter. I don't even know who taught her this, but they should be ashamed of themselves.
To the people in Flint, MI who are making calls and lying about the lines in an attempt to have people not vote, you disgust me. The length of the lines do not and will not determine your ability to vote. Get there before they close, fight to keep them open, and use your rights. You can and should VOTE and not listen to people telling you to stay home and wait. I guarantee you the polls will not be open tomorrow, so the liars shouldn't be getting their way.
If you're voting Blue, awesome. If you're voting Green, brilliant. If you're voting Republican, Gods help you but it is your right.
I'm not going to tell you voting is cool - because that is just ridiculous. It doesn't matter if it's cool. What matters is that VOTING IS THE RIGHT THING TO DO! People fought so you could make this decision. Soldiers died so you could keep it. Women picketed and made history just so voting was equal amongst our citizens.
There is zero reason you shouldn't vote.
Please, I implore you to go to your polls and vote. Use your voice, because you could lose it at any time if you don't.
